Japanese Sea Vegetable Soup Recipe
Ingredients
4 cups Basic Oriental Stock
1 clove garlic
2 shiitake mushrooms, rinsed and slivered
1/2 cup shredded nori
1/4 cup diced water chestnuts
1/4 cup chopped scallions (garnish)
Directions
In a large saucepan, combine the stock, garlic, mushrooms, nori, and water chestnuts.
Simmer for 20 minutes.
Remove garlic.
Simmer for 20 minutes.
Remove garlic.
