 2 tablespoons rice-wine vinegar
 2 tablespoons reduced-sodium soy sauce
 Asian dark sesame oil1 Tablespoon
 Grated ginger1 Tablespoon, peeled
 4 teaspoons white or black sesame seeds
 Sugar1/2 Teaspoon
 Garlic1 Clove (5gm), minced
 Pinch cayenne
 Romaine lettuce head1 Small, chopped

Directions

1 Combine the vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, sesame seeds, sugar, garlic, and cayenne in a medium bowl; mix well.
2 Divide the lettuce among 6 salad bowls. Spoon the dressing evenly on top (about 1 tablespoon per bowl) and serve at once.

I added 1 small red hot chilli and another time some wasabi. Both was great to fresh white shredded cabbage.
