Jansson's Temptation Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 198 g can tuna fish in oil | ||
| Onions | 2 Large, chopped | |
| Potatoes | 8 Medium, peeled | |
| Single cream | 125 Milliliter | |
| Breadcrumbs | 50 Gram | |
| Butter | 25 Gram | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
Take a knob of butter on a piece of kitchen paper and rub round the inside of an ovenproof dish.
Drain the oil from the tuna and spread the fish on the bottom of the dish.
Cover with the onions.
Arrange the sliced potatoes on top and season well with the salt and pepper.
Pour over the cream.
Sprinkle the breadcrumbs on top.
Cut the butter into small pieces and dot over the breadcrumbs.
Bake in a hot oven (Gas No. 6 - 400°F - 200°C) for about 1 hour, until the potatoes are tender.
Serve straightaway.
