Ingredients

1 cup brown or white rice, or a mixture of both
2 cups boiling water
1 tsps. olive oil
2-3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup chopped red or yellow onion
1 stalk celery, sliced
1 med. green or red pepper sliced
1 can (16 oz.) stewed tomatoes or 1 cup diced tomatoes
1/4 tsp. Tabasco sauce (optional)
1 tsp. saffron or dried oregano leaves
8 slices spicy turkey sausage, chorizo or other spicy sausage
1 can (12 1/2 oz.) Bumble Bee tuna (white or light)
1 can (6 1/2 oz.) Bumble Bee oysters (boiled or smoked)
1 lb. med.size raw (in shells) shrimp or mussels and/or clams

How to make Jambalaya Or Paella One Pot Meal

Place rice in sieve under cold water until water runs clear.
In a lg.skillet or paella pan, heat oil and saute garlic, onion, celery and pepper just until softened (about 3 minutes).
Add remaining ingredients (except seafood).
Bring to a boilj reduce heat, cover and simmer (about 25 minutes).
Arrange seafood over rice, cover and cook through 4 - 5 minutes.
Toss with a fork, if desired, to fluff rice and distribute seafood.
