Ham Jambalaya In An Electric Skillet Recipe
Ingredients
| Bacon Slices | 3 | |
| Long grain rice | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), uncooked | |
| Onion | 1 Medium, chopped | |
| Chicken broth | 1 13 3/4 Ounce | |
| Tomato sauce | 1 8 Ounce | |
| Cooked chicken | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 cup cubed, fully cooked ham | ||
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Ground pepper | 1 Dash | |
Directions
In skillet cook bacon.(Electric skillet 350°.)
Drain on paper toweling; crumble and set aside.
Add rice and onion to drippings and cook till golden, stirring frequently.
Reduce heat (220°).
Add chicken broth, tomato sauce, chicken, ham, salt, and pepper.
Cover and simmer till rice is tender, about 25 minutes, adding more water if necessary.
Stir in bacon.
