Ham Shrimp Jambalaya Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 cup ham cut in strips | ||
| Onion | 1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| 1/2 cup green pepper cut in squares | ||
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm), minced | |
| Salad oil | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Tomato soup | 1 Can (10oz), condensed | |
| Water | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 2/3 cup raw regular rice | ||
| Bay leaf | 1 Medium | |
| Hot pepper sauce | 1 Dash | |
| 1 cup cooked shrimp | ||
| Chopped parsley | ||
Directions
In large skillet, brown ham and cook onion, green pepper, and garlic in oil until vegetables are tender.
Add remaining ingredients except shrimp and parsley.
Bring to a boil.
Cover; cook over low heat 20 minutes.
Stir occasionally.
Stir in shrimp; cook 5 minutes more or until rice is tender.
Remove bay leaf.
Garnish with parsley.
