Jam Meringue Recipe
Ingredients
| Puff Paste- 1 recipe | ||
| Strawberry jam | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Meringue- 1 recipe | ||
| Blanched almonds | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), shredded | |
| Confectioner’s sugar | 2 Tablespoon | |
Directions
GETTING READY
1.Start by preheating the oven to 450F degrees
MAKING
2.Roll puff paste to 1/8 inch thickness.
3.Trim edges to make a sheet 10 x 7 inches.
4.Place on cookie sheet and make a 1/2 inch rim around the edge.
5.Prick with fork and chill thoroughly.
6.Bake in very hot oven (450° F.) for 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
7.Cool.
8.Spread jam over all, cover with meringue, sprinkle almonds over top, then sugar.

9.Serve chilled
