Jaffles in a Jiffy Recipe
Ingredients
| 2 slices wholemeal bread | ||
| 1 teaspoon 'lite' polyunsaturated margarine | ||
| 1 egg, pan-cooked without fat in a nonstick frying pan | ||
| Snipped chives | 1 Tablespoon (CHOOSE FROM THE FOLLOWING FILLINGS:) | |

| 1 slice reduced-fat cheddar cheese | ||
| 1 canned pineapple ring, drained | ||
| 3 tablespoons canned no-added-salt baked beans | ||
| 1 tablespoon low-fat cottage cheese | ||
| Tomato Slices | 2 (CHOOSE FROM THE FOLLOWING FILLINGS:) | |
Directions
1. Lightly spread one side of bread with margarine.
2. Place filling of your choice on unspread side of one slice of bread, top with another slice and cook in a jaffle iron or sandwich maker for 2-3 minutes, or until golden.
