Jade & Ruby Stir Fry Recipe
Jade and ruby stir fry is a chicken and vegetable stir fry prepared with added mushrooms in it. Simply seasoned and flavored with stir fry sauce of choice, the jade and ruby stir fry has onions, bell peppers and broccoli in it. Wok cooked to doneness, it is served saucy and delightful.
Ingredients
1 whole chicken breast, skinned and boned
1 pound fresh broccoli
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 medium onion, chunked
2 tablespoons water
2 medium-size red bell peppers, chunked
1/2 pound fresh mushrooms, quartered
1/3 cup Stir-Fry Sauce
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
Directions
Cut chicken into 1-inch square pieces.
Remove flowerets from broccoli; cut into bite-size pieces.
Peel stalks; cut into thin slices.
Heat oil in hot wok or large skillet over high heat.
Add chicken; stir-fry 1 minute.
Add broccoli and onion; stir-fry 1 minute.
Add water; cover and cook 2 minutes, stirring once.
Add bell peppers and mushrooms; stir-fry 2 minutes.
Stir in stir-fry sauce and crushed red pepper.
Cook and stir until chicken and vegetables are coated with sauce.
