Jackfruit Payas Recipe
Ingredients
| Ripe jackfruit pieces | 40 | |
| Jaggery | 40 Gram, crushed | |
| Coconut milk | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Cardamoms | 1 Teaspoon, powdered | |
| 1/4 cup pure ghee | ||
Directions
Steam the jackfruit in a sieve and set aside.
Make a syrup of the crushed jaggery and half a cup of water. Allow to come to a boil.
Meanwhile, mash the jackfruit in a mixie and pour it into the jaggery syrup along with the coconut milk and powdered cardamoms. Stir well. Strain and serve hot in small cocktail glasses.
