4 boneless veal cutlets (1 pound)
 
2 teaspoons shortening
 
1 8 ounce can tomatoes, cut up
 
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
 
1 tablespoon snipped parsley
 
2 teaspoons capers, drained
 
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
 
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano leaves, crushed

Directions

Pound veal to 1/4 to 1/8 inch thickness or have meatman tenderize cutlets.
Brown quickly in hot shortening.
Blend remaining ingredients; add to meat.
Cover; simmer 35 to 40 minutes.
Uncover; simmer till tender, about 10 minutes.
To serve, spoon sauce over meat.
