Italian Style Filet Mignon Recipe
Ingredients
2 lb (1 kg) filet mignon
3 slices bacon
1 onion, sliced
salt and pepper
1/4 cup (62.5 g) butter or margarine melted
1/2 cup (125 ml) dry sherry
Directions
Fry bacon one minute.
Add onions and saute until golden brown.
Remove bacon and onion from frypan.
Brown meat on all sides over a high heat.
Reduce heat and cook for five minutes.
Add melted butter or margarine and sherry and cook for another two minutes or until meat is cooked.
Do not overcook meat.
Serve with bacon and onions.
