Italian-Style Beef 'N Pasta Recipe
Ingredients
| 2 lean beef cubed steaks (about 4 ozs. each) | ||
| Olive oil | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Lemon juice | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Spaghetti sauce | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs), prepared | |
| Mushrooms | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), sliced | |
| Basil leaves | 1 Tablespoon, crushed | |
| 1 cup cooked linguini | ||
| Parmesan cheese | 1 Tablespoon, grated | |
Directions
Heat oil in lg.nonstick skillet over medium low heat.
Add beef cubed steaks; pan broil to desired doneness, 3-4 minutes, turning once.
Season steaks with salt and pepper, ifdesired; add lemon juice.
Remove steaks; keep warm.
Cook spaghetti sauce, mushrooms and basil in sm.skillet, uncovered, 3 minutes or until hot.
Divide linguini between 2 plates; spoon half of sauce over linguini.
Place steaks on top of sauce; spoon remaining sauce over steaks.
Sprinkle steaks evenly with cheese.
Garnish with fresh basil.
