Round steak - 1 1/2 pounds, cut 3/4-inch thick
 
Fat -2 tablespoons
 
Mushrooms -1 /4-ounce can, drained
 
Onion - 1/2 cup, sliced
 
Green pepper - 2 tablespoons, chopped.
 
Chili sauce - 1/3 cup
 
Water - 1/4 cup
 
Salt - 1 teaspoon
 
Pepper- 1/8 teaspoon
 
Garlic salt - 1/8 teaspoon
 
Worcestershire sauce - 1/2teaspoon
 
Olives - 1/4 cup, sliced

Directions

GETTTING READY
1. Season the steak and brown the steak on both sides in a heavy skillet in the fat. Remove steak and set aside to cool.

MAKING
2. To the same pan, add the mushrooms, onions and green pepper to fat and cook 5 minutes.
3. Blend in remaining ingredients and add the steak and cover tightly. Simmer about 1 hour, or until steak is tender.

SERVING
4. Serve hot with a fresh salad
