 1 1/2 pounds Italian sausage, cut into 1/4-inch slices
 Onion1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped
 Italian1 Can (10oz), undrained
 Potatoes4 Small, peeled
 Celery1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped
 2 tablespoons chopped celery leaves
 Parsley1/4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped
 Water7 Cup (16 tbs)
 1 beef-flavored bouillon cube
 Sugar2 Tablespoon
 Lemon juice1 Tablespoon
 Bay Leaf1
 Dried thyme1/2 Teaspoon
 Pepper1/4 Teaspoon

Directions

Brown sausage in a large Dutch oven; add onion and cook, stirring constantly, until tender.
Add remaining ingredients.
Bring to a boil; cover, reduce heat, and simmer 45 minutes.
Remove bay leaf.
