Italian Meatball Spaghetti Recipe
Ingredients
| Onions | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Garlic salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| 2 1-lb. cans tomatoes | ||
| 2 6-oz. cans tomato paste | ||
| Sugar | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | 11/2 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Bay leaf | 1 | |
| Oregano | 11/2 Teaspoon, crushed | |
| Meatballs | ||
| Spaghetti | 1 Pound, cooked | |
Directions
Cook onions with garlic salt in hot fat in skillet until tender, but not brown.
Combine 1 cup water, tomatoes, tomato paste, sugar, salt, pepper, bay leaf and oregano; add to onions.
Simmer for 45 minutes; remove bay leaf.
Drop meatballs into simmering sauce; cook for 15 minutes.
Serve sauce and meatballs over spaghetti.
