Italian Bread Recipe
Italian bread is crusty outside and sot inside. This bread is very chewy and is good for serving with soups and pastas. The Italian bread dough can be used to make rolls and can be flavored with roasted garlic and some olive oil. Enjoy the Italian bread.
Ingredients

| Water-2 cups, lukewarm | ||
| Salt | 1 Tablespoon | |
| All-purpose flour-6 cups | ||
Directions
MAKING
1)In a large bowl, soften yeast in lukewarm water and add in salt.
2)Slowly add flour and mix well.
3)On a floured surface, knead the dough for 15 minutes.
4)Take a greased bowl and put the dough in it.
5)Cover and let it rise for 2 hours or until doubled in bulk.
6)On floured surface, knead it for 5 minutes.
7)Divide dough into 2 parts and cover. Leave it for 10 minutes.
8)Shape it into long tapering loaves.
9)Take a baking sheet and put the loaves on it. Let rise for 1 hour.
10)Bake at 425 degrees for 10 minutes.
11)Decrease temperature to 350 degrees and bake for 20 minutes.
