Italian Style Chili Recipe
This Italian syle chili is a beef chili made with mushrooms and vegetables. Prepared with a tomato and basil sauce, the Italian style chili is cooked the canned tomato and mushroom liquid along with water. Spiced with chili powder, the Italian style chili also has pepperoni slices in it. flavored with beef bouillon, the Italian style chili fills you up deliciously.
Ingredients
1 pound lean ground beef
3/4 cup chopped onion
1 (26-ounce) jar Di Napoli (Tomato & Basil) Pasta Sauce
1 1/2 cups water
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can whole tomatoes, undrained and broken up
1 (4-ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained
2 ounces sliced pepperoni
1 tablespoon Beef-Flavor Instant Bouillon or 3 Beef-Flavor Bouillon Cubes
1 tablespoon chili powder
2 teaspoons sugar
Directions
In large kettle or Dutch oven, brown meat with onion; pour off fat.
Add remaining ingredients; bring to a boil.
Reduce heat; simmer uncovered 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Garnish as desired.
Refrigerate leftovers.
