Italian Stewed Pork With Celery Recipe
Ingredients
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm) | |
| 2 tablespoons olive or cooking oil | ||
| Carrot | 1 , minced | |
| 2 pounds lean pork, cut into bite-size pieces | ||
| 1 cup dry red or white wine | ||
| Salt | 1 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Celery | 2 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), sliced | |
| Bouillon or water | ||
| Chopped tomatoes | 1 Cup (16 tbs), canned | |
Directions
Brown garlic in oil and discard garlic.
Add carrot, pork, wine, salt, and pepper.
Cook, covered, over low heat for 1 1/2 hours.
Cook celery in bouillon until almost tender; drain.
Add cooked celery and tomatoes to pork mixture for the last 15 minutes of cooking time.
