Italian Skillet Meat Loaves Recipe
Ingredients
| Egg | 1 , beaten | |
| Soft bread crumbs | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Milk | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Instant minced onion | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Parsley flakes | 1 Teaspoon, dried | |
| Garlic salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1 Dash | |
| Lean ground beef | 1/2 pound | |
| 2 3 1/2X 3/4-inch sticks Monterey Jack cheese | ||
| Cooking oil | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Pizza sauce | 1 8 Ounce | |
| Hot cooked spaghetti | ||
Directions
Combine egg, bread crumbs, milk, instant minced onion, parsley flakes, garlic salt, and pepper.
Add ground beef; mix well.
Divide mixture in half.
Shape each portion into a little meat loaf around a stick of cheese.
In a small skillet brown the loaves on all sides in hot oil.
Pour off drippings.
Add pizza sauce.
Cover and reduce heat.
Simmer 15 minutes.
Serve with hot cooked spaghetti.
