Italian Shrimp Recipe
Ingredients
| Raw shrimp | 1 1/2 Pound | |
| Olive oil | 5 Tablespoon | |
| Onions | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| 1 large clove garlic, crushed | ||
| Parsley | 2 Tablespoon, minced | |
| Pinch of thyme | ||
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Ground black pepper | 1 Dash | |
| Italian tomatoes | 1 Can (10oz) | |
| Dry white wine | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sugar | 3/4 Tablespoon | |
| Hot cooked rice | ||
Directions
1. Remove shells and black sand vein from shrimp.
2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
3. Add onions, garlic, parsley and thyme. Cook until onions are limp but not browned.
4. Add shrimp, a few at a time. Cook lightly on both sides. Add salt and pepper. Add tomatoes, wine and sugar.
5. Cover with vac-control valve closed and simmer over low heat about 20 minutes or until sauce is slightly thickened.
