Ingredients
| Few sprigs fresh basil or parsley | ||
| 50g/2 oz Parmesan cheese, broken into chunks | ||
| 3-4 tablespoons peanut or olive oil | ||
| 25 g/1 oz walnuts | ||
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm) | |
| Ground black pepper | 1 To taste | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
Directions
Finely chop the herbs and Parmesan, using the double-bladed chopping knife, until a paste is formed - about 1 -2 minutes.
Pour the oil slowly through the feed tube and mix until well combined.
Add the nuts, garlic and seasoning and mix to a soft paste.
Use as a topping for soups or toss with hot cooked pasta.
