Italian Cream Cheese Cups Recipe
Ingredients
| Cream cheese | 225 Gram | |
| 50 g. castor sugar | ||
| Eggs | 2 , separated | |
| 1-2 tablespoons brandy, Kirsch or orange liqueur | ||
| 225 g. raspberries or small strawberries | ||
| Savoy biscuits | ||
Directions
Press the cream cheese through a strainer into a basin.
Add the sugar and egg yolks and beat until light and fluffy.
Flavour to taste with liqueur.
Whisk the egg whites until stiff then fold lightly but thoroughly into the cream.
Pile into individual glasses and stud the surface with raspberries or strawberries.
Serve with savoy biscuits.
Ideally, fresh or dry frozen raspberries, or wild strawberries.
