 1 1/2 pounds boneless pork shoulder, cut in small cubes
 Salad oil1 Tablespoon
 Salt1 Teaspoon
 Pineapple tidbits1 8 3/4 Ounce
 Bottled barbecue sauce1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Cornstarch1 Tablespoon
 1 medium green pepper, cut in strips
 Hot cooked rice

Directions

In skillet, brown meat in hot oil.
Season with salt and dash pepper.
Drain pineapple, reserving syrup.
Add water to syrup to make 3/4 cup.
Stir syrup and barbecue sauce into browned meat.
Cover and simmer 40 to 45 minutes or till tender.
Blend cornstarch with 2 tablespoons cold water; stir into meat.
Cook and stir till thickened.
Add pineapple and green pepper; heat through.
