IRISH POTATO CAKES Recipe
In my opinion to call yourself a chef one must have personal recipe of Irish Potato Cakes, just like I do. The Irish Potato Cakes can be considered the gem of the European cuisine. I cant believe you still haven't attempted to prepare my Irish Potato Cakes recipe.

Ingredients
1/2 lb. freshly mashed warm potato
2 oz. butter
little hot milk
1/2 lb. self-raising flour
Directions
Melt butter and blend with mashed potato.
Stir in the flour a little at a time and work to a soft dough, adding a little warm milk.
Turn out on a floured board and roll out 1/4 inch thick.
Cut into rounds, dipping the cutter in flour each time it is used.
Prick cakes with fork and bake on greased gridle until browned on both sides.
Split and sandwich together with butter.
IRISH CHEESE CAKES.
While cakes are hot cover tops with grated cheese and place under grill until tops are golden.
