I will let you enjoy this Irish coffee if you promise to toast before.
Here are some Irish toasts..
May your glass be ever full.
May the roof over your head be always strong.
And may you be in heaven half an hour before the devil knows you're dead.
Here's to a long life and a merry one.
A quick death and an easy one.
A pretty girl and an honest one.
A cold beer - and another one!

Recipe Story
From what I have heard it was first made in the 1940s for the transatlantic travelers, to keep them warm.A writer from the San Fransisco Chronicle claims to have brought it to America. Although this beverage can be served without sugar, the cream will not float on top of the coffee in the traditional manner. As for me I have always mixed Bailey's Irish cream with traditional black coffee to make Irish coffee. Who knew this recipe existed.Ingredients

3 tablespoons granulated sugar
6 cups strong, hot black coffee

How to make Irish coffee
