 1 1/2 tablespoons low sodium baking powder
 Baking soda1 Teaspoon
 6 tablespoons unsalted margarine or butter, cold
 Golden Raisins1 Cup (16 tbs)
 6 slices ARMOUR® Lower Salt Bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
 Eggs2
 Buttermilk1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs)

Directions

Preheat oven to 375°F.
Combine flour, sugar, baking powder and baking soda in large bowl; cut in cold margarine until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Stir in raisins and bacon.
Beat eggs slighdy in small bowl; reserve 1 tablespoon egg.
Add buttermilk and remaining eggs to flour mixture; stir to make soft dough.
Turn out onto lighdy floured surface; knead 1 to 2 minutes or until smooth.
Shape dough into round loaf.
Spray round 2-quart casserole dish with nonstick cooking spray; place dough in dish.
With floured knife, cut a 4-inch cross about 1/4 inch deep on top of loaf.
Brush loaf with reserved egg.
Bake 55 to 65 minutes or until wooden toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool on wire rack 10 minutes; remove from dish.
