Irish Coffee Dessert Recipe
Ingredients
| 2 envelopes (1/4-ounce or 7 g each) unflavored gelatin | ||
| Cold milk | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Milk | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sugar | 2/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Instant coffee | 2 Tablespoon | |
| 1 ounce (7 ml) Irish whisky | ||
| Creme de cacao | 1 Ounce | |
| Whipping cream | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Ice cubes | 8 | |
Directions
Assemble Blender.
Put cold milk in blender container and sprinkle gelatin over.
Let stand 3 to 4 minutes.
Add hot milk; cover and process at STIR until gelatin dissolves (about 2 minutes).
Add sugar, coffee powder, whisky and liqueur.
Cover and process at LIQUEFY until blended.
With motor on, remove feeder cap, and add cream and ice cubes, one at a time.
Replace cap and continue to process until ice is liquefied.
Pour into mugs or dessert dishes and chill until set (about 30 minutes).
Garnish with sweetened whipping cream and chocolate curls, if desired.
