20 ears of sweet corn
1 c. chopped green pepper
1 c. chopped sweet red pepper
1 1/4 c. chopped onion
1 c. chopped celery
2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tbsp. mustard seed
2 tbsp. salt
1 tsp. celery seeds
1 tsp. turmeric
1 qt. white vinegar
Directions
Cook corn in boiling salted water for 5 minutes; plunge into cold water.
Cut kernels from cobs; measure 2 1/2 quarts.
Combine all ingredients; simmer for 20 minutes.
Pack into hot sterilized pint jars, leaving 1 inch space.
Vinegar solution must cover vegetables.
Adjust lids.
Process for 5 minutes at 5 pounds pressure in canner or for 15 minutes in boil- ing water bath.
