Instant Kimchi Recipe
Ingredients
| Chinese Cabbage | 1 , trimmed | |
| Garlic | 2 Clove (5gm), mashed | |
| 1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce or flakes | ||
| 1 or 2 tablespoons soy sauce | ||
| Vinegar | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Sugar | 1 Tablespoon | |
Directions
Chop the cabbage into 1 1/2-inch pieces.
There should be about 3 cups.
Wash and drain.
Combine the cabbage and all the other ingredients and mix well.
Taste and if necessary adjust the flavor with more pepper, soy sauce and vinegar.
Cover and let stand at room temperature for about 1 hour.
