Inside Out Ravioli Casserole Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 7-oz. package macaroni | ||
| Ground beef | 1 Pound | |
| Onion | 1 Medium, chopped | |
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm), minced | |
| 1 10-oz. package frozen chopped spinach | ||
| Tomato sauce | 1 8 Ounce (Salad oil) | |
| Tomato Paste | 1 6 Ounce (Salad oil) | |
| 1 1-lb. can spaghetti sauce with mushrooms | ||
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon (Salad oil) | |
| Pepper | 1 Dash (Salad oil) | |
| 1 c. shredded sharp cheese | ||
| Soft bread crumbs | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) (Salad oil) | |
| Eggs | 2 , Well beaten (Salad oil) | |
Directions
Cook the macaroni according to package directions and drain.
Brown the beef, onion and garlic in 1 tablespoon oil.
Cook the spinach according to package directions, then drain and reserve the liquid.
Add water to the reserved liquid to measure 1 cup, then add to the beef mixture.
Stir in the tomato sauce, tomato paste, spaghetti sauce, salt and pepper and simmer for 10 minutes.
Combine, the spinach, macaroni, cheese, crumbs, eggs and 1/4 cup oil, then spread in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
Top with the beef sauce.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
Allow to stand 10 minutes before serving.
