Insalata Verde Recipe
Insalata Verde is a heavenly Italian salad that adds to the exquisiteness of your dinner spread! It is no wonder that this one of my favorite salads. Try this wonderful Insalata Verde recipe!
Ingredients
| Romaine 1 head | ||
| Olive oil | 4 Tablespoon | |
| Red vinegar | 4 Tablespoon | |
| Dry mustard | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1 Pinch | |
| Oregano Pinch | ||
| Lemon juice | 1 | |
| Green pepper | 1 To taste, sliced | |
| Cucumber, peeled and sliced 1 | ||
| Tomatoes, cut in wedges 2 | ||
Directions
Wash and dry romaine leaves and put in refrigerator until ready to use.
Place oil, vinegar, mustard, salt, pepper and oregano in a bowl, and whisk in lemon juice until mixture is smooth.
Toss with the lettuce, green pepper and cucumber.
Put tomato wedges on top, drizzle with the last of the dressing, and serve.
