Informal Fondue Party Recipe
Ingredients
| Onion | 1 Cup (16 tbs), finley chopped | |
| 1 clove garlic, minced or juice | ||
| Butter/Margarine | 3 Tablespoon | |
| 2 cups cooked dry baby lima beans | ||
| Tomato sauce | 2 Can (10oz) | |
| Dash or 2 of bottled hot salsa | ||
| 1/2 pound diced or coarsely shredded sharp cheese | ||
| French bread | ||

Directions
In a large heavy saucepan, cook onion and garlic in butter until translucent; don't burn.
Mash 1 cup of the beans with a fork and add, along with the remaining whole beans, to the onions.
Add tomato sauce and salsa.
Over low heat stir in cheese, a handful at a time.
Keep stirring until cheese is melted and mixture is hot.
Transfer mixture to a fondue pot over low to medium heat.
