Informal Fondue Party Recipe
|Chopped onion||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), minced/juice|
|Cooked dry baby lima beans||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Canned tomato sauce/1 can each green chile salsa and tomato sauce||16 Ounce (2 Cans, 8 Ounce Each)|
|Bottled hot salsa||1 Dash|
|Shredded cheese||1⁄2 Pound, diced|

Mash 1 cup of the beans with a fork and add, along with the remaining whole beans, to the onions.
Add tomato sauce and salsa.
Over low heat stir in cheese, a handful at a time.
Keep stirring until cheese is melted and mixture is hot.
Transfer mixture to a fondue pot over low to medium heat.
