Indoor Outdoor Kabobs Recipe
Ingredients
| Onion soup mix envelope | 1 | |
| Sugar | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Catsup | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Water | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Vinegar | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salad oil | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Prepared mustard | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Lemon Slices | 2 | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Bottled hot pepper sauce | ||
| 1 pound round steak, cut in 1-inch cubes | ||
| Potatoes | 4 Medium | |
| And quartered Instant nonseasoned meat tenderizer | ||
| 2 green peppers, cut in large pieces | ||
Directions
For sauce, combine first 9 ingredients with several dashes bottled hot pepper sauce.
Bring to boiling; reduce heat, simmer 20 minutes.
Cool completely.
Then add meat and potatoes; stir to coat.
Marinate 2 to 3 hours.
Remove meat; tenderize according to label directions.
Thread on skewers with vegetables.
Broil 5 inches from heat about 15 minutes; brush with sauce occasionally, turning once.
Heat extra sauce to pass.
