Indonesian Satay Recipe
Ingredients
3 pounds boneless lean pork
1/4 cup peanut oil
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 tablespoon chopped onion
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 teaspoon sugar
1/8 teaspoon curry powder
Peanut oil
Directions
Cut the pork into 1x4x1/4 inch strips.
Combine the 1/4 cup peanut oil with the soy sauce, onion, garlic, sugar and curry powder.
Stir in the pork and refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours.
Stir occasionally.
Thread the pork strips onto thin skewers.
Accompany with Peanut Sauce.
