Indonesian Pork Brod Recipe
Ingredients
3 tablespoons peanut butter
2 tablespoons soy
2 tablespoons ground coriander
1 tablespoon ground cumin
1 small clove garlic, minced or mashed
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
2 pounds lean pork
Spicy Dipping Sauce
1/2 cup soy
1 tablespoon molasses
1 tablespoon crushed red pepper
1 clove garlic, minced
Directions
Make a paste by blending peanut butter, soy, coriander, cumin, garlic, and chili powder.
Cut meat into 1-inch cubes.
Rub paste well into meat cubes.
Let stand 30 minutes.
Thread onto about 12 thin skewers, with about 4 meat cubes on each.
Broil slowly (about 15 minutes on each of two opposite sides) about 6 inches from the heat.
Turn only once.
