Indonesian Baked Chicken Recipe
Ingredients
| Dark brown sugar | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), firmly packed | |
| Boiling water | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Ketjap manis | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Paprika | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Garlic | 2 Tablespoon, mashed | |
| Lime juice | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| 3-pound chicken, cut into serving-sized pieces | ||
Directions
Place brown sugar in a small bowl.
Stir in boiling water, then add the remaining marinade ingredients.
Mix well.
Brush chicken pieces with this sauce.
Refrigerate, if possible, for several hours, allowing the flavors in the sauce time to permeate the chicken.
Bake prepared chicken in a preheated 350-degree oven about 1 hour, or until chicken is cooked through.
The sauce is equally good on broiled or barbecued chicken.
