Individual Deep Dish Apple Pies Recipe
Ingredients
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
2 tablespoons grated orange peel
1 tablespoon grated lemon peel
7 cups sliced pared apples
3 tablespoons butter or margarine
Pastry rounds
Directions
Combine the brown sugar, nutmeg, and orange and lemon peels and toss gently with apple slices.
Fill 6 deep ramekins with apple slices.
Dot each with 1 1/2 teaspoons butter.
Top with pastry rounds.
Bake at 425°F about 30 minutes, or until apples are tender.
