Individual Baked Alaska Recipe

Ingredients
| Egg whites | 4 | |
| Vanilla extract | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Confectioner’s Sugar – ¼ cup, sifted | ||
| Ice cream | 1 Pint | |
| Sponge Cake Shells – 6 individual | ||
Directions
MAKING
1) Using the electric mixer, beat the egg whites till stiff, taking care not to dry it out
2) Add in the vanilla extract and the confectioner’s sugar and continue to beat
3) Beat till the egg whites form into a meringue and stands in peaks
4) Spread out the individual sponge shells and place a portion each of ice cream into it
5) Cover the cake and the ice cream with the meringue
6) Place them on a cookie sheet and place in the oven for 5 minutes at 450F
SERVING
7) Serve the baked alaska’s immediately
