Individual Danish Pastries Recipe

1/3 cup sugar
1 tsp salt
3/4 cup water
1 envelope yeast
5 eggs
2 1/2 cups flour

Directions
In a bowl, dissolve sugar and salt in half the water.
In a second bowl, dissolve yeast in remaining water.
Mix in eggs and flour.
Add salted sweetened water.
Knead dough until it leaves sides of bowl.
Add butter in small pieces.
Continue kneading until creamy.
Transfer to a bowl.
Let stand at least 12 hours.
Preheat oven to 200 °F (95 °C).
Place a saucepan filled with hot water on bottom rack.
Butter small muffin pan cup.
Divide dough into 24 portions.
Place in muffin cups lets dough rise in oven 45 minutes Remove pastries and water filled saucepan from oven In temperature to 375F (190C).
Brush pastry with beaten egg return to oven
