Molasses Indian Pudding Recipe
Ingredients
Milk-4 cups, scalded
Corn meal- 1/3 cup
Molasses- 1/2 cup
Salt- 1 teaspoon
Sugar- 1/3 cup
Butter- 2 tablespoons
Cinnamon- 3/4 teaspoon
Nutmeg- 1/2 teaspoon
Directions
GETTING READY
1.Start by preheating the oven to 275F degrees
MAKING
2.In a double boiler, scald milk, slowly add corn meal and cook 25 minutes.
3.Add remaining ingredients.
4.Pour into greased baking dish and bake in slow oven for 2 hours.
SERVING
