Indian Bread Pudding Recipe
The indian pudding is a simple bread and milk pudding flavored and sweetned with molasses. Slow baked and prepared, the indian pudding can be spiced if desired with cardamom or cinnamon to make it more savory!
Ingredients
| Whole wheat bread | 6 | |
| Butter | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Milk | 4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Molasses | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) |
Directions
GETTING READY
1.Start by preheating the oven to 275F degrees
MAKING
2.Remove crusts from bread and spread generously with butter.
3.Place bread in greased baking dish.
4.Add salt, milk and molasses.
5.Bake in slow oven for 2 hours.
SERVING
6.Serve with cardamom sauce
