Ingredients
| Water | 1 Gallon | |
| Salt | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Freshly picked corn with husks and silks intact | ||
Directions
1 Pour the water into a clean sink or large kettle and mix in the salt. Add corn and soak for 10 minutes.
2 Place corn on the grill 4 to 5 inches above the coals, or toss into a medium hot campfire, being sure to place directly on the coals. Turn frequently. Corn will be done in 12 to 15 minutes.
3 The best way to test for doneness is, to peel back a very small section of the husk at the base of the largest ear. If the kernels when pierced do not yield a milky substance, corn is done.
