Indian Spiced Pork Chops Recipe
Ingredients
| 2 bay leaves, well crumbled | ||
| Ground cumin | 1 Teaspoon | |
| 1/2 teaspoon each ground ginger and coriander | ||
| Turmeric | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| 8 lean rib pork chops, trimmed of fat | ||
| Lime | 1 , quartered | |
Directions
In a small bowl, combine the bay leaves, cumin, ginger, coriander, turmeric, and salt.
Rub the mixture on both sides of each pork chop.
Cover and marinate at room temperature for 1 hour.
Preheat the broiler about 5 minutes.
Place the pork chops on the broiler pan rack and broil 7 or 8 inches from the heat, turning 3 or 4 times, until golden and cooked through about 10 minutes.
Garnish with the lime, if desired, and accompany with Minted Cucumber Salad,
