Indian Corn Stew Recipe
This indian corn stew is a meaty stew made with added beef to it. Cooked with fresh vegetables and ground beef, the indian corn stew is flavored with garlic, worcestershire sauce and seasoned to taste. Simmered to a finish, it can be served with rice or as desired.
Ingredients
2 tablespoons butter
3 ripe tomatoes, skinned and coarsely chopped
1 pound beef, ground
1 onion, chopped fine
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 clove garlic, chopped fine
1 green pepper, coarsely chopped
2 teaspoons sugar
3 cups corn, fresh or frozen
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
Directions
Melt butter in a large skillet, add beef, and saute over a high heat until brown.
Stir in onion, garlic, green pepper, and cook about 5 minutes.
Add corn, tomatoes, and seasonings.
Cover and simmer gently for about 30 minutes.
