Indian Chutney Recipe
Ingredients
| Cider vinegar | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Water | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm) | |
| Curry powder | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Ground ginger | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Ground cloves | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Ground cinnamon | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| 4 green apples, peeled, cut in eighths, and cored | ||
| 2 medium onions, cut in pieces | ||
| Citron | 2 Ounce, candied | |
| Seedless raisins | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Brown sugar | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
Put vinegar, water, garlic, curry powder, salt, ginger, cloves, and cinnamon in blender container; blend till garlic is finely chopped.
Add half the apples and half the onions to mixture in blender container; blend till coarsely chopped.
Add remaining apple and onions, citron, raisins, and brown sugar to mixture in blender container; blend till coarsely chopped.
Pour into saucepan and simmer, uncovered, over low heat about 45 minutes to 1 hour, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
Seal in hot, scalded jars.
