India Chicken Curry Recipe
Ingredients
| Onion | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), finley chopped | |
| Celery | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), finley chopped | |
| Butter/Margarine | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| All purpose flour | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Curry powder | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Chicken broth | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Tomato juice | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Worcestershire sauce | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1 | |
| 3 cups cubed, cooked chicken or turkey | ||
| Hot cooked rice | ||
| Condiments (such as chutney, golden raisins,chopped peanuts, and flaked coconut) | ||
Directions
1 In a medium saucepan cook the onion and celery in margarine or butter until tender. Stir in the flour and curry powder. Add chicken broth, tomato juice, and Worcestershire sauce. Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened and bubbly. Season to taste with pepper.
