Inca Breakfast Bowl Recipe
Ingredients
| 1/4 cupquinoa | ||
| 1/2 cup apple juice or water | ||
| Apple | 1/2 , chopped | |
| Pinch of ground cinnamon | ||
| Maple syrup | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Skim milk | ||
Directions
Place the quinoa in a fine strainer and rinse well.
Transfer to a large cereal bowl.
Add the apple juice or water.
Microwave on high for 4 minutes.
Top with the apples and a dusting of cinnamon.
Cover the bowl with a small plate and microwave on high for 3 minutes.
Stir in the maple syrup.
Serve hot with the milk.
