Ila's Chicken Divine Recipe
Ingredients
2 pkgs. (10 oz. each) frozen broccoli spears
4 to 6 whole chicken breasts, boned and skinned
2 cans (10 1/2 oz. each) cream of chicken soup
1 c mayonnaise
1 t lemon juice
1 c grated Cheddar cheese
1/2 C bread crumbs
1 t curry powder
Directions
Cook broccoli as directed, but reduce cooking time to 2 minutes.
Transfer broccoli to a greased 2 1/2-qt.
casserole or an 8 x 12-inch baking pan.
Steam cook chicken breasts 20 minutes.
Arrange breasts over broccoli.
Combine soup, mayonnaise and lemon juice and pour this mixture over chicken.
Sprinkle grated cheese on top followed by a mixture of crumbs and curry powder.
Bake for 30 minutes at 350° F.
