Iced Tomato Soup Recipe
Ingredients
1 can (1 lb. 12 oz.) pear-shaped tomatoes
1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 bay leaf
1 chile pequin (or 1/2 small dried hot chile pepper)
1 teaspoon salt
Dash ground cumin
1 strip orange peel
Chopped green onions
Directions
In a 5-cup electric blender container, combine tomatoes, lemon juice, bay leaf, chile pepper, salt, cumin, and orange peel (peel orange with vegetable peeler).
Whirl smooth; garnish with chopped green onions.
